Travel Diary: Botanical Gardens, Wicklow, Ireland. 16 April 2017
"I love to visit the botanical gardens in Wicklow, so much there to inspire and enjoy, wandering and exploring the manicured long beds and haphazard woodland. The abundant colours and diversity of exotic and native plants and flowers. This tall seed like receptacle structures, dried out like Venus flytraps, their gaping jaws at one time, bursting with seeds. Wonderfully elaborate this repeat pattern in navy and red with hints of lime and peppermint green is eye-catching and dramatic. "
