Travel Diary: Australia, 25 April 1999
"This beautiful Galah Cockatoo, I managed to photograph while travelling in Australia. As I crept cautiously through the bush, I was anxious not to disturb this wondrous bird. I could only photograph a glimpse through the trees, but it was enough to capture its intense colour. The vibrant rose pink plumage, white crown feathers and soft powdery grey wings. This repeat print is simply wonderful, with energetic swirls of colour and texture. Punchy pinks and luxurious whites and greys. A combination to die for.."
